6 eggs

11/4 cup sugar

11/4 cup flour

1tsp baking powder

1tsp bicarbonate of soda

Drop of vanilla

1 lemon zest

Beat the eggs and sugar in Kenwood for 10mn.

  • Mix other ingredients and pour in egg mixture. Mix all slowly with a wooden spoon.

  • Lay baking tin with butter and flour or Spray and Cook

  • Cook in oven 180C for 50 min.

As the name suggest, a cake from the Spanish era. A classic of the Sepharadi cooking. Great in its simplicity and has no milk or butter.
